body and food

We can quite often overlook the simplicity of God’s artistry intelligence in this world. One of the aspects that has always fascinated me is his creation of natural foods that aid in our functions of the body. Not only that, there are foods that help the body in which is mostly resembles. In other words, the body part that the food looks like, it helps. Here are a few examples

Carrots = Eye

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. Carrots enhances blood flow to the eyes. Carrots get their orange color from a plant chemical called beta-carotene, which reduces the risk of developing cataracts

Mushrooms = Ear

A sliced mushroom has the shape and resemblance of a human ear,  and mushrooms are good for ear health!   They are a great source of vitamin D, which is essential for preventing hearing loss.

Tomatoes = Heart

Tomato has four chambers and is red in color, so also the heart is red and has four chambers. Research has confirmed that tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and it is indeed pure heart food. It helps the blood flow and the strength of the heart

Walnuts = Brain

Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are similar to those of the neo-cortex. Walnuts help in developing over three dozen neuron-transmitters within the brain enhancing the signaling and encouraging new messaging link between the brain cells. Walnuts help warding off dementia. They also extract and break down the protein based plaques associated with Alzheimer’s diseases.

Ginger = Stomach

Ginger looks like the stomach and aids in digestion!  Ginger has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for stomach health.  Gingerol, the ingredient that gives ginger it’s strong scent and taste, is listed in the USDA database of phytochemicals as having the ability to prevent nausea and vomiting.

Celery = Bones

A stalk of celery resembles a bone, and they’re good for bones too.  Celery contains silicon, which is part of what gives bones their strength.  Here’s an astonishing fact: bones are 23% sodium, and celery is also 23% sodium.

Grapefruit = Breasts

Grapefruit, oranges, and other citrus fruits resemble female mammary glands and help the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts! Grapefruit contains substances called limonoids, which have been shown to inhibit the development of cancer in human breast cells.

Avacados = Uterus

Avocados and Pears are good for the health and functioning of the womb and cervix of the female and look just like these organs. Modern research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances the birth hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and can even prevent cervical cancer. It even takes exactly nine months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit, just like a human baby!

Clams = Testicles

Studies have offered evidence that clams, which bear a resemblance to testicles, are actually good for the male sex organs. – Research from the Netherlands has suggested that supplementing your diet with folic acid and zinc—both of which clams are high in––can have a significant effect on improving semen quality in men

Sweet Potatoes = Pancreas

A sweet potato has a striking resemblance to the pancreas, and has been shown to help the pancreas do its job by helping to stabilize blood sugar levels. Sweet potatoes are also naturally high in Vitamin B6,  which studies have shown inhibits the growth of pancreatic cancer!

There are a few more unprocessed and natural foods that resemble body parts and aid them. Wait till I tell you what a banana does!

It is another display of God’s intelligence and creative design. His artistic display is open for us all to see. Nature, Universe and in specific cases such as food and body parts!
